How long you been coaching/facilitating?
I’ve been coaching/facilitating for 12 years.
What is your history within sport?
I played junior/kids football with Shankill Juniors. I also played in the Milk Cup for County Antrim and proudly gained 2 international caps for Northern Ireland Under 18s. At senior level I have played for various clubs within the Northern Irish Premiership and Championship and currently play for Lisburn Distillery.
How long have you worked at Community Sports Network?
I’ve worked for Community Sports Network for 8 years. Previous to this, I was a casual coach for Sportopps (BCSDN) social enterprise company for 4 years.
Your best memory at Community Sports Network?
My 1st Maghaberry programme because it took me out of my comfort zone in terms of facilitation and I was excited but apprehensive about what to expect when in there!
Best thing about working at Community Sports Network?
The constant change of the working calendar and coaching/facilitating on many diverse programmes.
Favourite Sports Person?
Zinedine Zidane for two reasons… his Champions League final goal v Bayer Leverkusen in 2002 & his performance v Brazil at the 2006 World Cup!
