Fuzzy Zoeller
Golf legend on Confidence
Confidence - The belief or self assurance in your ability to succeed.
In 1979, Frank Urban "Fuzzy" Zoeller, Jr. became one of only three golfers to have won The Masters in his first appearance in the event. In 1984, he won the U.S. Open. When asked about the role of confidence in golf, he replied, "I've always been one of those types of players - I've never been afraid to mess up. Sometimes it comes off and sometimes it doesn't, but you have to take that chance." Generally, we will risk to the degree that we believe in our ability to succeed - confidence.
"Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right."
Henry Ford
