Professional nurse on grace
Grace– That which helps us in the time of need.
In the past four summers the Lord has led me to serve as a nurse at Echo Ranch Bible Camp in Alaska During my last tri,p while I was on a daily horse ride we tried runing and seconds later I was bucked off, landing on my back. At first I thought I had just broken a few ribs but after two days in pain I conceded and went to the hospital. The doctor was shocked to report a major fracture of a verterbae. The fracture occured in a way that split and came together just around the spinal column, not severing the cord. By the Grace of God I am now back at nursing and serving others with assurance that God is always with us.
“But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me.”
1 Corinthians 15:10 NIV
Take time today to think of the times you needed God the most. Give thanks for him being there.
