Aaron Cook
Rockies pitcher on Joy
Joy – Finding a way to be happy, even when things don’t go your way.
Aaron Cook is a right handed pitcher who has spent entire career with the Colorado Rockies and was selected to the 2008 All-Star Game where he pitched 3 scoreless innings. When asked about growing up and what his parents taught him he said, “Playing baseball in my childhood it was my Dad who would tell me after a loss to have fun when playing sports. Because you will always remember the fun times and the people more than the losses.” Whether it is a win or a loss there is always the opportunity to forget the negatives and find the joy.
“Happiness depends more on the inward disposition of mind rather than on outward circumstances.”
Benjamin Franklin
